🏃‍♀️CBCAC was excited to be part of the Chicago Marathon again this year! We recruited 30 more volunteers to join our team.

☺️CBCAC has been volunteering at the marathon for many years, and it was wonderful to see both familiar faces and new faces coming together to support the runners. A big thank you to all our volunteers for your time, energy, and support. We couldn’t have done it without you!

🏃 And congrats to all the runners and finishers of the marathon!!!

🍎 On Saturday, October 10, our community heard from Chicago School Board candidates for the 7B and 8B subdistricts and for the board president position at CBCAC's CPS School Board Candidate Forum. We asked questions about city-wide policies as well as about priorities for the two subdistricts that cover Chinatown and Bridgeport.

🏫 Thank you to the 90+ community members who attended and all the partner organizations who helped plan and run the forum. Remember to express your voice by voting in the November 3 election! Early voting already began at two downtown locations and will begin in each of the 50 wards next Monday, October 19.
