We’re excited to share that is co-sponsoring the End modern Slavery Now! Movement with Empowerment Collective 🀝✨

Join us on March 8th for our online annual gathering to demand mandatory supply chain transparency labeling to End Modern Slavery Now.

🎟 Tickets: https://www.endmodernslaverynow.org/

Each year on International Women’s Day, Empowerment Collective β€” a 100% survivor-led organization dedicated to ending modern slavery β€” invites women and allies around the globe to unite and demand that the exploitation hidden within our supply chains is unveiled. The goal is to empower all of us with the knowledge needed to fill our homes and lives with slavery-free products.

Today, 50 million people worldwide are living in modern-day slavery β€” individuals whose dignity and personal freedoms have been stolen in pursuit of profit. Their exploitation continues largely because of a lack of transparency in our global trade systems.

We gather on March 8th because modern slavery is a gendered issue. Women are significantly more vulnerable to being trafficked into modern slavery. At the same time, women control 85% of global consumer spending (Forbes, 2024) β€” giving us tremendous power to shift this reality through our everyday choices.

Our 2026 March 8th gathering will feature survivor voices at the forefront of the conversation β€” because those closest to the problem are often closest to the solution β€” alongside passionate leaders from ethical fashion, human rights advocacy, academia, and more.

Featured speakers include:
β€’ Dr. Claire Dale
β€’ Nasreen Sheikh
β€’ Jewher Ilham
β€’ Carry Somers (Fashion Revolution)
β€’ Thea Lee
β€’ Evelyn Chumbow
β€’ Jennifer Varekamp
β€’ Daniela Caine
