Face the Future is dedicated to raising funds and public awareness in support of the multi-disciplinary patient care at UIC's Craniofacial Center so that every child with craniofacial differences lives a confident, joyful and fulfilling life. We envision every child with craniofacial differences having a confident, joyful and fulfilling life.

- We believe that every child deserves a smile-filled

future.
- We believe that every child and their families deserve the best multi-disciplinary care regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or ability to pay
- We believe that all patients who have craniofacial differences deserve the best opportunities to live a fully-embodied life and reach their full potential.
- We believe that the best craniofacial care includes: being treated by the most compassionate and knowledgeable medical team, who have access to state-of-the-art equipment, and provide wrap-around emotional, cognitive, and psychology support services, all under one roof, for however long the patient needs care. GOALS:

To help University of Illinois Craniofacial Center expand their direct healthcare services to disadvantaged or underserved children primarily from the Chicago metropolitan area who need treatment for a craniofacial anomaly. To support this Center's research and drive for innovation that leads to new discoveries in the treatment of children with craniofacial anomalies. To fund cutting-edge technologies needed at University of Illinois Craniofacial Center in the treatment of craniofacial anomalies. To provide information and raise awareness about craniofacial anomalies to the general public, especially in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Face the Future Foundation invites you to support the Adrienne L. Green Scholarship, established in 2018 to honor Adrienne’s passion for education and belief in the power of every individual’s story.

Each year, a $5,000 scholarship is awarded to a current or former patient of the UI Health Craniofacial Center to pursue higher education at an accredited institution of their choice.

Your support helps make these opportunities possible and continues Adrienne’s legacy of learning, creativity, and compassion.

Dear Friends

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Laurie Bay, a cherished leader, advocate, and friend whose vision and dedication helped shape the very foundation of Face the Future Foundation.

Laurie was instrumental in the creation of Face the Future and proudly served as its first President. Her passion, compassion, and unwavering commitment to children and families impacted by craniofacial differences laid the groundwork for the mission we continue to carry forward today. Through her leadership, generosity, and belief in the power of community, Laurie helped create a foundation that has brought hope, healing, and support to countless lives.

Beyond her accomplishments, Laurie will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and genuine care for others. She had a remarkable ability to inspire those around her and a steadfast belief that every child deserves the opportunity to live a confident, joyful, and fulfilling life.

As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate Laurie’s extraordinary legacy — one that will continue to live on through the work of Face the Future Foundation and the many lives she touched.We extend our heartfelt condolences to Laurie’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
