The Double Hit Lymphoma Foundation

The Double Hit Lymphoma Foundation Providing a community of knowledge and support for people impacted by double hit lymphoma and other MYC-related lymphomas www.tdhlf.org

Permanently closed.

Dear Friends of the Foundation:
We greatly appreciate all you’ve done to help us achieve our mission:

• Increase awareness of double hit lymphoma

• Provide information, tools and connections that make diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship more manageable, with fewer surprises and unknowns for patients, advocates, and caregivers

• Fund research related to all aspects of double hit and MYC-relat

ed lymphomas, supporting earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment

Over the past three-and-a-half-years, you’ve helped us make significant progress! We’ve seen the number of double hit lymphoma focused sessions increase at important conferences, including ASH and ASCO. We’ve provided information and support to patients and caregivers through tdhlf.org, phone conversations, visits, connections with other patients, and referrals. And, we’ve awarded 32 Patient Travel Grants, with the support of Karyopharm. We’ve also hosted clinician education sessions in Chicago and New York, held an Advisory Board in Seattle, and a Pathology Advisory Board in Boston. So, it’s with mixed feelings that we are announcing the close of The Double Hit Lymphoma Foundation. While there is still strong demand for information, resources, and connections, and Foundation financials are strong, we have been unsuccessful in terms of succession planning. Your generous contributions and grants from Karyopharm, Celgene and Seattle Genetics were key to our success. We are no longer accepting donations and will use our funds to continue to pay Patient Travel Grants and will distribute any remaining funds as of November 1, 2017 to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. LRF have been strong supporters of the Foundation and we’re confident they will continue to provide meaningful education to patients. While the Foundation will cease to exist on November 1, 2017, we are confident that our efforts will have a lasting positive impact on the double hit lymphoma community. With much gratitude,
