FYI- New Bus Route for #78

Heads up, neighbors who ride the #78 Montrose bus!

Beginning Sunday, August 23, CTA is making a permanent routing change between Montrose and Wilson.

The #78 will no longer operate on Clark between Montrose and Wilson and will instead travel in both directions along Ashland.

As part of the change, the Clark/Montrose and Clark/Sunnyside stops will no longer be served, and several nearby stops at Clark/Wilson and Ashland/Montrose will be relocated.

If the #78 is part of your regular commute, please take a moment to review the updated route and stop locations before heading out. The new routing takes effect August 23.

🗣️ Anyone parked on north end of Buena Circle Park please move your cars ASAP

One of the remaining trees in the park is about to fall onto these cars and a nearby condo building and the city is trying to deal with it before it causes damage

The city’s Forestry crew is in the park right now but is unable to fix the issue until the cars are moved

The city crew may be forced to leave and come back later. If so - please don’t park on the north side of Buena Circle Park for your safety
