1. What’s included with my ticket?
Admission to the symposium, brunch, 4-hour open bar, keynote speaker, networking, raffles & giveaways, and access to the VOGUE ROOM.

2. Will alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages be served?
YES! Open bar + non-alcoholic options available.

3. Can tickets be purchased at the venue?
No. We strongly encourage purchasing in advance.

4. Is the event open to all women?
YES! Women from all backgrounds are welcome.

5. Can I bring my friends?
Absolutely! Bring your girls and reserve a table for 10 for $600. ($5 off each ticket)Tables can only be purchased through Zeffy(no fees) or Eventbrite

6. Do I have to come with a group?
No! Come solo and leave with new friends. (Sorella’s)

7. Will seating be assigned?
Reserved tables sit together.

8. Will there be networking opportunities?
ABSOLUTELY! The Symposium is Intentionally designed for connection.

9. Will there be photo opportunities?
YES! Access to our most talked about luxury VOGUE ROOM is included.

10. What if I can no longer attend?
Tickets are non-refundable; however, they ARE transferable.

11. Is there a dress code?
YES! Elegant ALL-BLACK attire.

You Will Not Continue To Bleed On Me………

I’m Not The One Who Cut you!

Bright morning, Cuties & Beauties!

At some point you have to stop allowing people to dump their unresolved pain, trauma, bitterness, anger, insecurities, trust issues, and emotional damage onto you like YOU were the one who hurt them.

Baby… I didn’t betray you.

I didn’t abandon you.

I didn’t lie to you.

I didn’t cheat on you.

I didn’t mistreat you.

So why am I paying the emotional bill for wounds I didn’t create?

That’s called PAIN PROJECTION. 💔

Pain projection happens when someone refuses to properly heal from past hurt, so instead they transfer that pain onto innocent people through:

Attitude

Distrust

Defensiveness

Emotional outbursts

Manipulation

Constant accusations

Mood swings

Toxic communication

Shutting down emotionally

Creating drama and confusion

And Sis… it will wear you OUT emotionally trying to be friends with/love someone who keeps punishing you for what somebody else did to them.

One minute everything is fine…

The next minute they’re triggered, defensive, cold, angry, distant, suspicious, or creating issues that don’t even exist because they’re responding from OLD wounds instead of present reality.

That kind of energy damages friendships/relationships because eventually:

Communication breaks down

Trust gets strained

Resentment builds

Emotional safety disappears

You start walking on eggshells

You lose yourself trying to “prove” your heart

And let me say this for the Sorellas in the back……….

Having compassion for someone’s pain does NOT mean you become a punching bag for their dysfunction.

I honestly believe that some people don’t WANT to heal because pain and misery have become familiar to them. And as crazy as it sounds… some people feel more comfortable in chaos than peace.

Why?

Because healing requires:

Accountability

Self-reflection

Change

Vulnerability

Letting go of victimhood

Breaking toxic cycles

And everybody is not ready to do that work.

Some people stay attached to pain because it gives them:

Attention

Excuses for bad behavior

Emotional control over others

Familiarity

Validation in their suffering

A reason to avoid growth

Misery can become an identity when healing feels uncomfortable.

But Sis… hear me clearly:

You are not required to stay connected to someone who continuously bleeds all over you while refusing to heal themselves.

The Bible says:

“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’”

1 Corinthians 15:33

You can love people from a distance.

Pray for them from a distance.

Wish them healing from a distance.

But you do NOT have to sacrifice your mental health, peace, joy, or emotional well-being trying to save people committed to staying broken.

And baby… if I didn’t cut you, you will NOT continue bleeding on me.

Have ya’ll ever noticed some people keep an invisible scoreboard in friendships?

A “score taker” is someone who keeps track of everyyyyyy act of kindness, support, gift, favor, phone call, invite, or sacrifice. They operate from a mindset of

“I did this for you… so what are you going to do for me?”

Their friendships are often transactional instead of genuine.

Score takers usually…..

Keep count of what they’ve done!

Expect immediate repayment or recognition!

Give with conditions attached!

Become resentful when they feel they didn’t “get enough back!”

Use guilt, reminders, or passive comments to collect emotional debt!

And last but not least….. They Struggle to celebrate others without comparison!

But let me say this…REAL FRIENDSHIP ISN’T BUILT ON RECEIPTS‼️

Healthy relationships are rooted in love, sincerity, grace, and mutual care…not CONSTANT TALLYING. When someone is always operating tit for tat, it creates emotional pressure, distrust, competition, and imbalance. Over time, it can make people feel drained, manipulated, or emotionally unsafe.

AUTHENTIC FRIENDS give from the heart…not for applause, leverage, or future favors.

Now let’s be clear, Sorellas…I am not saying allow yourself to be used or mistreated. Boundaries are healthy. Reciprocity matters. But there’s a difference between HEALTHY BALANCE and KEEPING!

A constant taker mentality can harden the heart because it shifts relationships from love to transactions. True giving flows from sincerity, compassion, and character not manipulation.

Sometimes score takers operate from past hurt, rejection, abandonment, pride, or fear of being overlooked. Healing matters. Self-awareness matters. Growth matters!
