We're just over two months past our most recent mission to Military Hospital 175 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, but the memories and images continue to flow. Here are a number of photos from our last full day where we celebrated with our team and patients, and where we completed rounds afterward. Such a great volunteer team (as always), made only better by the warmth of our Vietnamese colleagues and the joy of our patients and their family members!

The dedication and innovation of the Operation Walk Chicago volunteers can extend beyond the care we offer to our joint replacement patients. Andrew Brander, son of Operation Walk Chicago co-founder Dr. Victoria Brander and Dr. William J Brander, has accompanied our team on multiple recent missions providing valuable tech support. Recently, Andrew joined the IT Department of the Cook County Treasurer's Office in the Chicago area. He quickly applied his expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help develop a new system to eliminate a massive backlog in reimbursement payments to local taxpayers. Thanks in large part to Andrew's efforts, taxpayers are now getting their long-overdue refunds. Here's a news story that just aired on the Chicago ABC station covering this breakthrough. Congratulations, Andrew!
