As you will notice there are only 4 posted events for the suite! The suite will NOT be open any other time except for set up prior to each event to anyone!

Calling at Pups, Cats, Ponys, Pets, Wolves, Critters, Handlers, and kin. To the 2nd PAHCK @ IML Meetup!

PAHCK (Pets and Handlers of Color + Kin) is a meet up started by ONYX Midwest’s as a way to connect beyond the mosh.

Join us Sat 3:30-5:30 at the Onyx Hospitality Suite (room tba)

PAHCK was started 2 years ago as a space for BIPOC pet players to meet and talk about how we navigate the world of pet play in a space of our own at kink events. Many of us have often expressed how we are ignored or avoided at the larger mosh and meetups or just don’t enjoy the same scene or even play others do. Back then 5 people showed up to the first meet up, and it was a start. Since then the 2nd meet up was at the ONYX BLACKOUT30 year anniversary with a back to back Forum and Meetup where everyone plus 5 more not pictured showed up to discuss how we pet play (22 total). This year we hope more show up to this growing pack of pets in the Onyx Hospitality Suite during IMLBB, and if you have never been, we can’t wait to meet you! Please share this with any BIPOC pets you may know! This event will be hosted by Pup Cariño Blaze ONYX, come to the room enjoy some onyx punch and mix and mingle! We meet up after the POC Leather Caucus and before the POC social! So you dont miss any of the socials this year! And while you’re at it, why not join us later that night for the Renown ONYX Dance Party at Bassline as well for the first weekend full of back to back BIPOC socials during IMLBB!!!

8 days away! the Renowned ONYX Dance Party during IML Weekend! Don’t have time to sit and get your leathers taken care of before the Dance? No problem! Today we spotlight co-founder of Second City Bootblacks!

Tito Joey is a vibrant, community‑minded personality who brings warmth and flair to every gathering. After first exploring the Leather community in 2009, he fully embraced his passion in 2023 with guidance from the influential folks at Onyx Midwest( and to name a few), who emphasized that service to the community is at the heart of it all.

As a proud bootblack in Chicago, Tito Joey now brings his skills to events across the city and surrounding areas, including the Leather Archives and Museum and the Chicago Hellfire Club. His stand converts into a grooming table so all guests—even critters—feel welcome.

He is also the co‑founder of Second City Bootblacks, an organization dedicated to education, visibility, and community building. Tito Joey has taught classes on basic leather care, the bootblack stand and its importance in the community, and incorporating other kinks in your bootblack kit.

If you have time to stop by, take a seat and enjoy the care and attention he brings to you and your gear.

9 days till the Renowned ONYX Dance Party! Today we will spotlight one of the bootblacks and a values community member our 2025 Midwest Leather!

boy Badu Ngozi, pronouns are lowercase he/him/boy. an s-type Leatherboy rooted in history and tradition who also prioritizes showing up as a black afrolatino regardless of the space he is in.

Since 2022, Badu has made it his mission to be everything, everywhere, all at once when it comes to volunteering in his community. Using all his skills, Badu has bootblacked, worked as den staff, served as tallymaster, and is a serial volunteer demo bottom!

As 2025 Midwest Leather, Badu’s platform was to make service sexy, and let’s just say, he does it oh so well!

DJ GayBash! (He/She/They) is a Black, Q***r, Non-Binary DJ in the Chicago. The name “DJ GayBash!” is a testament to being unapologetically loud in expressing their identity. You can hear this in DJ GayBash!’s blending of genres with strong q***r followings such as female Rap, R&B, and K-Pop: With the Q***r pioneered sounds of House, Techno, and Hyper-Pop.
Since moving to Chicago, IL in 2024, DJ GayBash! has played many parties throughout Chicago’s nightlife and underground. In 2025 DJ GayBash! Was awarded “Best Newcomer DJ” at the third annual “Gaggys” Chicago Drag and Nightlite Awards. Additionally, as a founding member of PUTOPIA collective, DJ GayBash! has helped organize events for LOBTQ. POC including “Semi-Hard” and “PUTOPIA”
