Founded in Chicago, IL. by 5 Amazing Girls February 18, 2018 Colors: Maroon and Sparkle Gold
R.E.A.L girlz originally came from an organization called "REAL Women", which was founded at Northern Illinois University by 6 beautiful young ladies. The acronym REAL stands for Respected, Educated, Ambitious and liberated Women. Hi, my name is Ashley Hill and I am the founder of R.E.A.L. Girlz and a current charter member of REAL Women. I brought this mentoring program to my church because I felt that I could relate to many of these young ladies. Being a natural born leader I felt that I should come up with something that will not only keep the girlz busy, but it will push them take leadership roles, over come their weaknesses, have the ability to have an open mind for change, knowing right from wrong, knowing what professionalism means, learning about different cultural backgrounds and last but not least knowing how to love, protect and feel comfortable in their own bodies.
My organization is built on #scholarship, #sisterhood #Diversity # community Service and #leadership. I hope that this information touched you in some way knowing that these girls WILL make a difference!!
All Girlz are welcome between the ages of 13-18. If you are older and will like to be apart of this amazing organization, please let me know! I will not turn anyone away because of their age.
