Greetings from the Guest House
May marks Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! This month, we honor the rich cultures, diverse traditions, and incredible contributions of the AAPI community, which have been made every single day, not only during this month of recognition.
We also want to acknowledge the contributions made to our society, in the medical field, in healthcare, and here at Guest House.
Team Guest House is excited to welcome the AAPI community and so many diverse communities, backgrounds, and cultures. οΏΌπππΌππ½πͺβ€οΈ
It is humanity's cultural influences that make the Guest House such a welcoming place for all. β€οΈβ₯οΈπ
If you are considering volunteering or donating, please think about supporting Guest House, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We provide comfortable and affordable temporary lodging for patients traveling to Chicago for medical treatment, regardless of age or diagnosis. We also support military veterans receiving treatment for PTSD through the Road Home Program.
Our facility is conveniently located near top-rated hospitals and welcomes patients of all ages with a range of medical conditions.
The Guest House offers 54 fully furnished apartments, including one, two, and three-bedroom options. Each unit features a separate living room, kitchen, and private bathroom. Additionally, we provide free streaming TV and Wi-Fi.
We partner with Rush University Medical Center, Stroger Hospital of Cook County, UI Health, Northwestern Hospital, and the University of Chicago Medicine. Furthermore, we collaborate with the Road Home Program for Veterans and their families at Rush, the American Cancer Society, and the Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network.
We hope to see you soon at the Guest House! ππ
