Talk about a full circle YMCA moment!

Ten years ago, Cooper was one of Miss Karissa’s little learners at the Forchetti Family YMCA Center for Early Learning. Fast forward to today, and Cooper is now a junior in high school who came back to visit some familiar faces and make new friends!

Cooper spent time on the basketball court with our five year olds, teaching them how to dribble, shoot, and maybe even score a few baskets!

This is what makes the Y so special. The relationships built here go far beyond the classroom. We love watching our kids grow up, discover their potential, and come back to inspire the next generation.

Once part of the Y family, always part of the Y family! 💙

The Fab Fit Fall Challenge success stories keep coming!

We're continuing to check in with our participants as we move through the second half of our 12-week challenge, and today we're celebrating Katy and the positive changes she's experiencing!

Since starting the challenge, Katy has noticed better sleep, increased energy, improved focus at work, and more motivation to push herself during workouts.

"I haven't lost very many pounds, but it is great to see what other changes besides weight are happening."

Through her SECA body composition scans, Katy discovered that even though the number on the scale hadn't changed much, she was building muscle!

"It felt like clothes were fitting a little better, but since I hadn't lost very much weight, I just thought it was in my head. The scan showed me I was building muscle instead of losing weight!"

She's also making healthier nutrition choices, starting her mornings with nutrient-packed smoothies and finding what works best for her body.

This is what healthy living at the Y looks like! More energy, better habits, growing confidence, and progress that goes far beyond a number on the scale.

Keep going, Fab Fit Fall participants! Every healthy choice counts, and we're proud to be part of your journey!
