This is Marcus. Marcus is one of the first rescues we took in 13 years ago. He was approximately 1 year old at the time. A long haired chihuahua with a cleft palate. We took him immediately to be evaluated and were told he would probably live 6 to 8 years because his cleft palate opening to his nose would leave him susceptible to more infections then usual. He is going to be 15 January 1st. He has lived his best life here. The only medical issue is a cyst on his face next to his left eye which we need to drain on occasion. He is our Golden Child. This is the honor we give to the eldest member of our Sanctuary.

We had volunteers come today. Jeremiah Mensing and Daniel Schrahm of ClearView Windows came to our aid with a Bob Cat and chain saws. What would have taken us months of work, they accomplished in hours. They didn’t ask for anything. Just a few cattails from our pond for their kids. I cannot believe these two caring, kind, generous, giving men took their time, energy and resources to help us. If anyone needs a General Contractor please contact them. They deserve all the business they can get. We will never be able to thank them enough.

We are currently in a contest to have a dog trained by Cesar Millan.
Petite Trésors Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501c3 dog hospice for abused, handicapped and senior dogs. We have operated more than a dozen years taking in dogs for the remainder of their lives living and sleeping with us a family. There are no cages, crates or kennels. Some dogs are not seniors. We have 2 dogs who are only 3 years old. One of them is aggressive. We would benefit immensely from this contest. We ask that you would take the time to vote for us. Thank you.

We have a friend looking to adopt a chihuahua. His little chihuahua died recently and he is bereft. I have been trying to help find his new best friend but so far I haven’t had any luck. There are so many scammers out there and when I look for a business verification or Google review, their aren’t any. I have even noticed pictures of supposedly available chihuahuas on different sites that are the very same stock photos. If anyone knows of a legitimate chihuahua available, please let me know. He is 60, retired and has a fenced yard. Thank you, Mary
