Thankful for United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region, Massachusetts support for our rural neighbors.

This past Wednesday, UWFH gathered our Aligned Impact Food Security-granted partners for collaborative time together. We reviewed updated data resources from the region, talked about the successes and challenges of their programming, and shared the needs seen around hunger that persist in our communities and beyond.

Connections were deepened and new ideas were sparked! We're looking forward to the next gathering already.

Pictured: Geoff Naunheim of UWFH, Erin Ferrentino of Grow Food Northampton, Heidi Nortonsmith and Alexander Léger-Small of the Northampton Survival Center, Dave Christopolis of the Hilltown Community Development, Tom Taaffe of The Brick House Community Resource Center, Alisa Klein of Grow Food Northampton, and Sam Guerin of the Amherst Survival Center.

Many thanks to the Sunderland Public Library for the meeting space!
