Cub Scouts PACK 209 Westhampton Join cub scouts today! Pack 209 serves Westhampton and Easthampton communities, and surrounding areas. Students can join at any time!

Pack 209 is for grades K-5

Lion Cubs - Kindergarten
Tiger Cubs - 1st grade
Wolf Cubs - 2nd grade
Bear Cubs - 3rd grade
Webelos - 4th grade
Arrow of Light - first half of 5th grade. Pack 209 meets most Mondays 6:30-7:30pm. Meeting Location: Westhampton Elementary School.

Our scouts traded in the deep frozen snow tonight for an evening in the pool! Scouts earned their swimming elective adventure. Thanks to Fitness First in Agawam for hosting the Pack and Miss Becky from Water Wonders Swim School LLC for helping teach the kids. It was great to get back in the water and dream of warmer weather! On Monday 2/9/26 our Pack had our Blue and Gold Banquet.
We started the night with a magic show by Ed Popielarczyk which was a great way to get all of the scouts and siblings ready for a fun night
Troop 209 Westhampton MA was kind enough to cook a spaghetti dinner for us as well as set up the facility. Additionally, they welcomed the AOL scouts into the troop. Their Banquet was Monday and their first Troop meeting is Thursday.
During the Banquet, our Cub Master Steven was awarded his Woodbadge award for earning the highest rank in Scouting Leadership.
Finally all the other dens awarded scouts with their achievements as well as some who earned their ranks.
It was a fantastic night and over 130 friends and family helped us celebrate.

This past Saturday 1/31/26 the cubs particiapted in Yukon Daze. This year the theme was Canada.
Troop 209 Westhampton MA was also there for their Klondike Derby.
It was VERY cold out and the scouts were champs getting through all the station with no concerns.
The Cubs had the following activities at the different stations; Snow Bowling, Canadian Trivia, A Game of Snake, Snow Shoeing, Escape room, Three Legged Obstacle Course, Fried Donuts, and SLEDDING!!!!

Tonight our Scouts celebrated the Holiday season with some crafts and a ton of fun.
The Scouts made an ornament, candy holiday tree, played ring toss on the antler, and a relay race.
After the activities were complete the Scouts decorated the Pack Leaders as Holiday trees.
Finally, each scout received a holiday wrapped gift, it was a small pinewood gift they can carve, decorate and race in the future.

On 12/6 the Scouts went to the Springfield Thunderbirds game which was the annual Teddy Bear Toss night.
The scouts got to go on the ice and toss T-Shirts to the crown and have some fun.

On 11/17 our Scouts went to the Easthampton Safety complex where the Easthampton Fire Department showed our scouts fire safety and first aid. Additionally the Scouts were able to look and walk through the fire trucks and ambulance.

On 10/27 our Scouts enjoyed a night of activities celebrating Halloween and Fall.
They were able to pet some horses, take part in an obstacle course, create leaf art, and collect candy along the way!!!
