We are beyond grateful for the team at Reliable plumbing and drain service , who donated their labor to help us get our Camp ready for our first program starting on June 26th. Three plumbers gave their time and expertise - installing new toilets, shower valves, a slop sink, and outdoor spigots, repairing leaks, and restoring water service throughout our buildings.

We still have a lot of work to do in a short amount of time. If you have skills, time, or resources to share, reach out - every bit of help matters.

We are looking for session volunteers! Ideally 18+ who are interested in providing care for folks with disabilities- no experience required! Must be available June 24th- July 12th. (or some of that time!)

Why do our volunteers come back year after year? David Stephenson, who's first summer was in 2025, said, "Ashmere is a place where all self conciseness dissolves and you can become the best version of yourself. A place where friendships form with or without words."

Stuff is happening!!

For the last 3 weeks, have been working incredibly hard creating accessible trails. Creating a space that everyone in our can navigate independently is at the core of the Ashmere Project's mission.
