There are 3 areas of growth that are of particular importance to lead one into the kingdom of heaven, the Buddha called them sila, samadhi, and pranya- losely translated as moral discipline, meditation, and wisdom, also known as the noble eightfold path. Jesus emphasized how important love is for our growth and moral discipline, to the question of how does one inherit eternal life. Jesus replied love God and your neighbor as yourself. in order to love our enemies, we need to cultivate a practice of meditation so that we can live "in the Spirit" which gives us the capacity to love on a universal scale, and to have the wisdom to see things just as they are
