The TAAF inbox of FB private messages has been full the last few days and apparently FB monitors those and they deleted them all before I could even see them. FB said they all went against community standards. Too funny.

PROOF THAT "DOUGLAS OKWATAGA" IS NOT CHEROKEE, EITHER. ON TOP OF ALL HIS OTHER LIES.

Proof that he is not a helicopter pilot, a paramedic or a flight medic will be posted ASAP as well. Please be patient. For those of you who know TAAF at all, you know that we keep our word.

This person exists, but who knows what he really looks like, who his real family actually are, or where he lives.

Ask yourself why no one on the Boundary has ever seen him in person, much less seen him at ceremony.

And for all of you who saw pictures of the people he said were his family, pictures I am certain he stole, anyone could have sent you pictures of anybody and said that. How do you know they exist, and how do you know they are actually connected to him? You don't.

That's the scam.

Did you see pictures specifically of HIM in a MAMA flight medic uniform? For example? That's the life flight chopper that works in NC, especially at Mission hospital. Or did he just send you a vague picture of a generic helicopter jumpsuit and helmet?

Also keep in mind that much of what he shared with me was photoshopped. Also easy to prove that. More education on that in a separate post.

We owe the "Douglas" a debt of gratitude for giving us a great example of a common grift, and so many things will be discussed going forward with regard to fraudulent ID cards, photoshopped things, how these kinds of gifts work, what to watch out for, etc.

This is a whole new type of fraud for us here at TAAF. And we will indeed amend our mission statement to include it going forward.

UPDATE!

"Douglas" is a fraud. Literally. AND a pretendian !! AND a grifter. This is not his real name. He lies about being a helicopter pilot and flight paramedic. We will provide hard evidence of this, because he has made the claims, yet he is not licensed or employed as either in NC. He claims to have worked as such for Mission hospital in Asheville. He is trying to scam Cherokee women online. BEWARE. We are reporting him to the authorities. He will be added to the TAAF website. The pic of him below is photoshopped. Badly.
Noticed that they deleted their Facebook profile entirely, then it popped back up, scrubbed of certain things. We will be watching out now for his future profiles and scams. He employs DARVO tactics and tried to salvage an identity he worked hard on. This is a whole different type of fraud. One we will be paying some attention too now. For the protection of NDN women.
