NEW LEAF IS OPEN FOR DONATIONS! ❤️🎉

Starting Monday, October 19, we're thrilled to accept ALL donations once again!

Thanks to your patience, we've spent the past few weeks cleaning, reorganizing, and making some big changes at New Leaf. Now we're ready to get back to the heart of why we opened this store.

New Leaf is so much more than a thrift store. It's where survivors can start over, families can find affordable essentials, and neighbors can shop while supporting a great cause.

Every dollar raised helps sexual assault survivors with housing, rent, utilities, and other basic needs.

We love our holiday decorations and every generous gift, but when we're holding 50 totes of the same thing, it's time to make space for what our families need most: beds, dressers, kitchen tables, and household basics.

🛋️ What we're accepting: Furniture, dishes, kitchen items, small appliances, bedding, linens, books, crafts, holiday decor, and more!

❤️ Please give with care! We're unable to accept broken or stained items, items with heavy pet hair, furniture from smoking homes, or tools. Everyone who shops with us or turns to us for help deserves quality items.

🚚 Thursday pickups with Charlie are still available! Please note that we no longer offer furniture delivery due to limited manpower.

🙌 Our back room is ready! Our improved donation process makes drop-offs easier, and our volunteers will be on hand to help.
We'd love to welcome new volunteers, too!

When our inventory fills up, we may occasionally pause certain donations to keep the store organized and welcoming for all.

New Leaf is more than a thrift store. It's a place where survivors can start over, families can find affordable items, and our community can shop while supporting a great cause! All proceeds help sexual assault survivors with housing, rent, utilities, and other essential needs.

We love our holiday decorations and all the wonderful donations, but when we have 50 totes of something, it's time to make room for the beds, dressers, kitchen tables, and household essentials our families need most!

WE NEED YOUR HELP STOCKING NEW LEAF! 🏠❤️

Our shelves are looking a little bare and we need your furniture donations NOW! Families and survivors in our community are counting on us — and we're counting on YOU to help us fill New Leaf back up!

Here's what we need most right now:
🛋️ Couches & loveseats
🪑 Recliners & rocking chairs
🛏️ Beds & bed frames
🗄️ Dressers
🍽️ Kitchen tables & chairs
👶 Children's furniture, beds & cribs
🍴 Kitchen utensils

Before you donate, please keep in mind that all items must be:
✅ Clean and in good condition
✅ From a smoke-free home
❌ Not broken, heavily stained, or covered in pet hair

Why does this matter? When our team drives out to collect a donation that can't be used, we have to pay to dispose of it — and that's money that could be going toward helping survivors. We don't need perfection, just something you'd feel proud to pass on to another family. 😊

🚨 We need 3 helping hands tomorrow morning! 🙌

New Leaf is looking for 3 people who can stop by at 8 AM to help our wonderful volunteers lift our holiday tubs onto tables and get ready for our BIG holiday sale! 🎄🎃🐰

It shouldn't take long, but a little extra muscle would mean so much to our volunteers! ❤️

NEW LEAF NEEDS FURNITURE!

Our store is cleaned up, organized and READY for more furniture donations and we are running low! We have families and survivors needing furniture, so we would love your help filling New Leaf back up!

Right now, our biggest needs are:

🛋️ Couches & loveseats

👶 Children’s furniture, beds & cribs
🍴 Kitchen utensils

We LOVE donations, but we do need to ask everyone to help us out with one thing. ❤️

Furniture must be clean, in good condition and come from a smoke-free home. We can no longer accept or pick up furniture that is broken, heavily stained, covered in pet hair, or something we cannot safely give to another family.

Our guys travel all over to pick up donated furniture. When they arrive and an item cannot be used, we then have to haul it away and pay to dispose of it and that takes money away from helping survivors. We definitely don’t expect everything to be brand new, just something you would feel good about giving to another family. 😊

🎄🎃🐰 Holiday Sale this Friday at New Leaf in our parking lot!

Our holiday inventory is overflowing, so it’s time to clear it out! Bring a reasonable-sized bag or box and fill it with holiday goodies for just $5!

🧡 We have to give a HUGE thank you to A New Dawn Solutions! 🧡

Yesterday, their team came into New Leaf and completely transformed our back room. When we say transformed we mean it! We cannot wait to share the before-and-after pictures. 😊

This was about so much more than organizing. They helped us create a process that makes sense for our volunteers and our store better organization, clearer procedures, and a better system for what we can and cannot accept. This is going to make such a difference for New Leaf moving forward.

But what impressed us most was the people behind the company. They are genuinely kind, caring human beings who truly care about the people they are helping. We cannot thank them enough for what they did for New Leaf.
