One of our goals has been to raise awareness regarding va**ng, increase ni****ne use and the increase in potency from synthetic products. Along with ni****ne products- THC products have also significantly changed in potency. Not only have they increased in potency- but both THC and ni****ne v**es are easy to get and difficult to tell the difference between if you don't know what to look for.

The importance of sharing this is because adolescents may think they are just taking hits from some ones "just ni****ne" v**e but it could be THC. OR parents could think that their kids are " just va**ng ni****ne" and they could actually be using Ma*****na.

Measles is in Iowa. We know summer is a great time to travel, so if you have been to any of these locations and are experiencing symptoms we ask that you call your medical provider prior to arriving. It is also a great time to make sure you and your children are up to date on the MMR vaccine. Children get this at ages 12mo and 4 years. However, they can receive it as early as 6 months for earlier protection and earlier than 4 years. Talk to your doctor or you can call public health at 712.225.2129 with any questions.
