Friends of Chenango Valley State Park We are a small nonprofit group that loves our park and supports the park manager in the programs they want to implement during the year.

One of the priorities our park manager likes us to focus on is educational programs within the park.

Trevor was with us last year when SOAR brought their six track chairs to the park and he did a great job operating the chair. But today we couldn’t find the wrench needed to move the joystick to the left side for him so John got to use the attendant controller on the chair. And we all had a great time being outside on this beautiful afternoon.

TAE will be renting bikes and kayaks at the park this year!

Excited to announce that on top of the river trips to Farm by Beer Tree Brew, we'll be renting out bikes and kayaks at Chenango Valley State Park this year. We even have a little camp store with fishing supplies. The permit was just approved, so things are still coming together. Stay tuned for a lot of updates.
