Hello fellow scouts, my name is Michael and I am the male course lead for this year’s course and an Eagle Scout out of Troop 225. I love lasagna and role playing as a tree in my free time. This is technically my 2nd year of NYLT Staff but I’ve probably gone back in time to replay this year's course a couple dozen times by now. I would typically put a time travel joke here too but you guys didn’t like it.

A little late but yesterday was Mother’s Day as well as BPC NYLT STAFF Sunday!!

Yesterday staff was Abigail who is acting as our SPL for course this year.

We asked her for a message to put out and here it is!

“Hi I’m Abigail. I like to ask weird questions, like if your life was a movie, which scene deserves an Oscar? I attended NYLT in 2021 and have staffed courses in various councils since, this year serving as the Youth Course Lead for Baden Powell Council. I am an Eagle Scout, Venturer, and Sea Scout in Seneca Waterways Council. NYLT has taught me to identify what I am striving for, make a plan, and go for it. It strengthened my communication and teamwork skills. NYLT showed me how many people are on my team and tools I can use to thrive. I am thrilled for course this summer and look forward to seeing you there!”
