🎶 Music met technology this summer at C4K!

Together with Music Resource Center campers explored sound in two hands-on camps: Musical Circuits and Beat Making & Lyric Writing.

From building contact microphones and sound sensors to producing beats and recording lyrics in a professional vocal booth, campers discovered new ways to create through music and technology.

Huge thanks to MRC for helping inspire the next generation of creators! 🎤✨

🚀🌌 What a week! Our Space Week campers blasted off into an unforgettable adventure exploring the cosmos through hands-on experiences.

From visiting a planetarium and building and launching their own rockets to wrapping up the week with an incredible trip to Green Bank Observatory - home to the world's largest fully steerable radio telescope - our campers got a chance to experience space like never before.

A huge thank you to National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) for partnering with us to make this camp such a fun, inspiring, and out-of-this-world experience!💫

📸 Yesterday, we were excited to welcome the Piedmont Housing Alliance Youth Ambassadors to the C4K Clubhouse! They spent the day building their professional brand by creating LinkedIn profiles and taking polished headshots.

Dancers from Charlottesville Ballet Academy visited the C4K Clubhouse, where our own Cullen Levesque filmed their performance and introduced them to video editing. We love seeing the performing arts and technology come together!
