🎨 Fun fact: I love creating art and have been teaching myself different forms of art.

💛 Favorite part of C4K: Being able to be a positive influence, just like the staff were for me when I was a member.

💡 Advice for youth: Always believe in yourself, even when you feel like others don't.

🌎 If I could instantly learn one skill: I’d love to be fluent in multiple languages.

🎵 Fun fact: I've been a percussionist since 6th grade and currently play drums for the band Petite ManSung!

🎮 Favorite C4K memory:
Creating the "Press Start" game design collab, which brought together friends from different schools to design their own video game.

💡 Advice for youth:
Do what you love! If you're passionate about video games, taking pictures, or sewing bags - take it a step further and share your skill with others! Who knows who you might inspire!

☀️ School’s out and summer is officially on at C4K!

As we gear up for an awesome summer of creativity and fun, the Clubhouse will be closed the week of June 1st so our team can reset and refresh the space.

Starting the week of June 8th, we’ll be open for Member Drop-Ins Monday–Thursday from 1PM–6PM! 🎮💻🚀

💙 Favorite part of C4K:
The people — especially the young people who walk through our doors every day. I love seeing youth discover new interests, build confidence, and take pride in what they create. It’s also incredibly rewarding to work alongside our amazing staff, board members, mentors, and volunteers who make C4K such a supportive and inspiring community.

🎉 Fun fact:
I once wrote my name on the Berlin Wall (with an erasable pen!) shortly before it came down.

💛 Favorite memory:
When a C4K alum stops by just to say hello — it’s a reminder that C4K is more than a program. It’s a lasting community where people always belong.

✨ Spots still available for STEM From Dance! ✨
STEM From Dance is C4K’s first two-week summer camp for girls and nonbinary youth to explore STEM through movement, music, and technology.

Participants will work with Charlottesville Ballet’s Ty Cooper and C4K staff to:
🌀 Explore the physics of hula hooping and sound waves
💃 Choreograph dance performances
🥁 Build percussion instruments
💡 Create wearable tech and LED-powered performance elements
