GFWC - Charlotte, MI Meetings are held monthly September through May, except January. They are generally a noon luncheon or tea and sometimes an evening session.

Community Commitments: Adopt-a-City Flower Bed, Annual High School Senior Tea, Scholarships to Charlotte High School Seniors, Arts & Nursing Scholarships, SIREN Holiday Tea, Charlotte Community Library, City Beautification The location varies within the city. Upcoming Forest Garden workday:

Monday, August 31, 8-11 a.m. New Time
Directions: Drive out N. Cochran past Packard Highway and Hope Landing. Turn right on the first road which is Parkland Drive in the Samuel A. Combs Industrial Park. Then turn left on the first drive which leads to the Forest Garden and the ball field.

PLEASE join us at the Forest Garden to help take care of this precious and delicious future club project, to see what it looks like now that all the main plantings are in the ground, and to show your support.

You are welcome to invite friends or family members to join you when you come out. The more the merrier! Many hands make light work!

And be sure to bring drinking water, gardening gloves and your favorite gardening/weeding tools.

Wanted: shovels, rakes, pitchforks and a garden hose. Bring to one of the work sessions or PM and you will be told who to contact.

Ladies, are you seeking opportunities to expand your social circle, engage in new experiences, and make a positive impact in the community? Consider joining GFWC-Charlotte, a dynamic organization dedicated to service and personal growth.

Join us for a casual meet and greet on Monday, August 24, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Timepiece Park, located at 108 E. Lawrence, across from Christensen's. Enjoy refreshments and learn about our events, meetings, and service projects from our members. We'll also guide you through our simple application process.

As a new member, you'll have access to a wide range of activities and opportunities, with annual dues of only $55. Our monthly meetings take place on the first Friday of each month, from September to May (excluding January), at the Senior Center, featuring lunch, a speaker, and a business meeting.
