Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes & hope

They really dug into their first build with us! 🪏❤️ A big shoutout to the team from Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Johnston for getting their hands dirty and digging holes for porch footings.

Their hard work helps create the foundation for families to build generational wealth, find stability, and enjoy the peace of mind of an affordable home.

Thanks for getting down to earth with Habitat!

Our Bank of America crew returned to the build site ready to roll, grabbing materials, suiting up with safety gear, sharpening their power tool skills, and bouncing between houses wherever an extra hand was needed.

Their dedication goes far beyond a single build, and we’re so grateful for the time, hard work, and generosity they bring to our Habitat community all year long. ❤️ Thank you Bank of America!

Our Director of Construction, Dan Warner, recently attended the 2026 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo in NYC, hosted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

While there, Dan participated in a roundtable discussion focused on shaping future LEED certification standards for homes. It was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders and showcase South County Habitat for Humanity's work building energy-efficient, resilient homes at an international level.

Way to go, Dan! ♻🏡
