🔨🏠 From the ground to the gutters, the Chase Bank team put in incredible work on our Westerly duplex project last week!

Volunteers installed vinyl siding, measured and cut materials, and even tackled work several levels up on scaffolding. Another crew kept things moving by installing gutters and downspouts. Thank you, Chase Bank, for helping us build affordable homes and stronger communities! 💙

We're beyond thankful to Henderson Roofing for donating and installing the roofs for our Westerly duplex–helping provide safety, stability, and a fresh start for the two families who will soon call these units home. 💕🏡

From Charlestown to Chimaltenango, our Global Village trip to Guatemala was about more than building, it was about coming together across communities.

Last week a team of eleven volunteers from South County Habitat for Humanity traveled to Guatemala, to work alongside Hábitat para la Humanidad Guatemala and local families. Together, we poured concrete floors, installed sanitary latrines, and built smokeless stoves... simple solutions that create safer, healthier homes. In just one week, we were able to serve 12 families.

But the greatest impact wasn’t what we built, it was what we learned: that safe housing is a foundation everyone deserves.

We are deeply grateful for the community that welcomed us into their homes. 🔨💕

Shoutout to the Bank of America team for a strong day on site last Friday 🛠️

From exterior soffit work on gable ends to interior air sealing with OSB installation and taping, their efforts helped insulate the homes, improving energy efficiency, long-term durability, and helping reduce utility costs for homeowners. Thank you Bank of America! 🏡❤️
