St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Serving Neighbors in Need Across Georgia | Delivering food, clothing, housing, healthcare, and emergency support. At St.
(1)

Vincent de Paul Georgia, we’re neighbors helping neighbors through life’s toughest moments. Every year, nearly 300,000 Georgians turn to us for help with food, clothing, housing, healthcare, and emergency support. We meet people where they are—personal, compassionate care that makes a real difference. Our network of 3,200+ Vincentians members across 74 local chapters, supported by staff and thousa

nds of volunteers at our Chamblee Support Center, brings hope and stability to communities across the state. We’re one of Georgia’s largest and most trusted social service organizations, and we’re proud to be part of a global network of 800,000 Vincentians in nearly 150 countries, all working to build stronger, resilient communities. Whether you want to volunteer, partner, or donate, there’s a place for you to help. Together, we can make a real impact—one neighbor, one act of care at a time.

🌟 A legacy can help create a path toward stability for generations to come.

During National Make-A-Will Month, consider including SVdP in your will or estate plans. A future gift can help neighbors across Georgia stay housed, put food on the table, access needed medicine and move from crisis to stability.

If you'd like to be a part of our mission, we’re pleased to offer complimentary access to FreeWill, a guided estate planning tool sponsored for us by The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia. 📑 FreeWill can help you create or update your will, make your wishes known and consider the legacy you want to leave behind.

By including SVdP in your plans, your generosity can continue opening doors to stability, opportunity and hope for neighbors long into the future. ❤️

We’re thrilled to share an important step forward for The Cottages of providence!

The Cu***ng City Council unanimously approved a resolution supporting the project as it moves forward. The Cottages of Providence will help address a critical need in Forsyth County by creating supportive housing for neighbors experiencing housing instability, with special priority for veterans and seniors.

We are grateful to the community members and advocates whose presence, encouragement and support helped make this moment possible. The work continues, and you can be part of what comes next.

We’re excited to announce Georgia Power and Gas South as the Co-Presenting Sponsors of the 2026 Morning of Hope! ☀️

Both organizations have been longtime partners of SVdP Georgia, investing in our mission and serving neighbors across the state.

Since 2009, Georgia Power and the Georgia Power Foundation have contributed nearly $2 million to help neighbors access stable housing, nutritious food and utility assistance, complemented by the dedicated service and generosity of Georgia Power employees.

Over 17 years, Gas South has invested approximately $1 million in our mission, including significant support for Motel to Home, and its employees have contributed more than 2,500 volunteer hours supporting our programs.

We are grateful to Georgia Power and Gas South for helping lead Our Mission for This Moment and making it possible for SVdP Georgia to respond wherever the need is greatest.

🗓️ Join them on September 24 at Flourish Atlanta for Morning of Hope and celebrate what’s possible when our community comes together.

✨ BIG NEWS! ✨
What does it take to help someone move out of homelessness and into a place where they can truly belong?

Alan Graham has spent more than 25 years exploring that question.

As the Founder and CEO of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, Alan helped create Community First! Village, a neighborhood in Austin serving people who have experienced chronic homelessness. His work shows what can happen when housing is paired with community, connection and care.

On September 24, Alan will bring that perspective to Atlanta as the keynote speaker for Morning of Hope 2026.

After separating from her partner, Jazz relied on family for a place to stay. When the living situation was no longer suitable for her and her children, she found herself pregnant and sleeping in her car with her two young daughters.

She was determined to create something different for her family. She just needed a stable place to begin.

Today, Jazz and her daughters have a home and a community walking alongside them. With childcare in place and a new job, Jazz is working toward her goals while preparing to welcome her baby this month.

Jazz’s strength continues to move her family forward, while Marillac Moms provides the housing, encouragement, and individualized support to help her build lasting stability.

Applications are now open for pregnant mothers experiencing homelessness. Watch Jazz’s story, share this opportunity with someone who may need it, or help support another mother’s journey toward stability.

As Disability Pride Month comes to a close, we're celebrating the people whose differing abilities and perspectives strengthen our communities every day.

One of those people is Avery.

Seventeen years ago, Avery came to SVdP through the Bobby Dodd Institute work training program. Today, he's a beloved member of our Chamblee team, helping sort donations, maintain our campus, and bringing joy to coworkers and volunteers alike.

Disability Pride Month calls us to recognize the dignity, talents, and contributions of every person. By creating opportunities where people of all abilities can thrive, we build stronger communities rooted in respect, belonging, and hope. This is something that SVdP strives to live out everyday.

As our Senior Director of Human Resources Sonji Bates-Boston shared, "The fact that for so many years Avery has thrived and felt 'at home' working here speaks to our culture of treating everyone with dignity and respect."

Thank you, Avery, for 17 years of helping make SVdP Georgia feel like home for so many!

At SVdP, friendship is an essential element that shapes the way we serve.

Every home visit starts by listening. Every conversation is an opportunity to build trust. Every relationship is a reminder that each person deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with dignity.

✝️ Blessed Frédéric Ozanam believed that when people come together to do good, they also grow closer to one another. That spirit continues to shape our mission today.

This International Day of Friendship, we're grateful for every volunteer, neighbor, donor, and supporter who chooses to build community one relationship at a time. Together, we show that friendship has the power to restore hope and strengthen lives.

Happy International Day of Friendship, Vincentians! 👫
