During the summer we shifted our focus to the persecuted church around the world and how our prayers matter through a new study - the Forbidden Faith Journey 🕊🌎
We utilized Voice of the Martyrs’ When Faith Is Forbidden 40 day devotional and the VOM magazines and website.
Each student chose a country, researched, and gave a presentation of the country, sharing what life is like for believers there, as well as stories of faith and current prayer requests. 🙏🏼
To culminate the focus week of their country, each student was in charge of planning a celebration with themes, food, dessert, a game, and tradition all from the country they chose.
We were blessed to have multiple guest speakers with connections to some of the countries come to Monarch's Way and share their experiences. What a rich deposit their wisdom and stories were!
Through this experience, the girls were able to learn and bring to light the challenges and faith of others, learning the power of their prayers, and the beauty and worth of the Gospel. ✝️
