Today, SBEDF CEO Ginger Cangelosi and Business and Community Development Manager Rhett Pritchard attended GNO, Inc.'s Fall 2026 Site Selector Session at Tulane University’s Yulman Stadium, where they connected with regional economic development partners and featured site selector Scott Kupperman of Kupperman Location Solutions.

These connections are part of SBEDF’s ongoing work to position St. Bernard Parish for future business investment and growth.

Last night’s St. Bernard Real Estate Meetup focused on St. Bernard’s next chapter and took a long-term look at St. Bernard’s future, from what’s ahead in the next year to the next 20–30 years. 🏠

Our panel featured SBEDF CEO Ginger Bogle Cangelosi, SBEDF Board Member and St. Bernard Parish Council Member Joshua Moran, St. Bernard Parish Government Coastal Manager and Chief of Staff John Lane, and series host Mike Fernandez of Arpent Realty and Property Management.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask direct questions and hear from local leaders about the projects, infrastructure, investment and development shaping St. Bernard’s future.

Yesterday, we gave our new CEO, Ginger Bogle Cangelosi, an unofficial tour of St. Bernard Parish — from the Jackson Barracks all the way to the “end of the world” in Delacroix and everywhere in between.

Ginger got to experience the communities, landmarks, businesses and cultural sites that make St. Bernard unique, including the Los Islenos Heritage Museum, the historic St. Bernard Catholic Church and cemetery, SSE Steel Fabrication, the Katrina Memorial in Shell Beach, Old Arabi’s Cultural District, the former Ford Motor Plant, and Old Arabi Lighthouse Records and Books, the former St. Bernard Voice building, and so much more.

Of course, we also made time for some local favorites — getting Ginger her very first St. Bernard Parish Library card 📚 and grabbing lunch at Brewster's Restaurant & Lounge!

It was a great introduction to the history, culture, businesses and communities that make St. Bernard home. We’re excited to have Ginger on board and look forward to all that’s ahead for the St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation. 💙
