Two new additions to the herd arrived today! Meet Oreo and Bandit…

Oreo (JC: Tizoreo) is a 2023 striking grey gelding who fractured a sesamoid in racing training before making it to a start. He will be evaluated for treatment and we expect him to make a full recovery.

Bandit (JC: No Mask Required) is a 2022 bay gelding who is reported to be retiring sound after 10 starts. We will be evaluating his soundness and putting some weight on him before offering him for adoption.

Both boys seem very sweet so far! We are so happy to give them a soft place to land. 🩶🤎

Please help us welcome our newest intake, JC: Peekay! He is a very tall chestnut gelding with long legs and a sweet, laid back temperament. He retired from racing after 9 starts due to a bowed tendon. We will be giving him some love and getting him healed up! We can’t wait to get to know him. 🧡

PROGRESS REPORT! 🙌🏼 Swipe for before/after photos!

Ringo (chestnut) and Lincoln (bay) both arrived in mid-June, underweight and with racing injuries. We are so happy to report that with a couple months’ time, treatments, and TLC, they are looking much healthier and happier! Ringo is now sound and available for adoption and Lincoln will be ready soon. We are so grateful to be a part of their journeys! 💖

August has been a big month for adoptions! We are so excited for Jolene (JC: Insistent) to have found her person in Emma. The two of them are incredibly sweet together. We can wait to hear about all of their adventures in three day eventing!

Since tragically losing Dolly this week, we are even happier to have given Jolene a barn name in appreciation of her work and memory! But what else could you name a mare like her with flaming locks of auburn hair? ❣️
