August has been a big month for adoptions! We are so excited for Jolene (JC: Insistent) to have found her person in Emma. The two of them are incredibly sweet together. We can wait to hear about all of their adventures in three day eventing!

Since tragically losing Dolly this week, we are even happier to have given Jolene a barn name in appreciation of her work and memory! But what else could you name a mare like her with flaming locks of auburn hair? ❣️

Our newest intake has landed right where she belongs! Meet JC: Lil Ballerina 🩰 a 4 year old bay mare who strained a tendon in racing training before she made it to a start. We are so happy to have her in our “company” and look forward to dancing with her!

Please help us welcome two new rescues to the herd! The chestnut is JC: Ringo, a 2021 gelding retiring from racing due to a bowed tendon after 10 starts. The bay is JC: Roll Penny Roll, a 2020 gelding retiring from racing due to a fractured sesamoid after 24 starts. They are happy to have each other as neighbors as they begin their healing processes!
