COOP* AT WORK-
Even though fire is in our name, our job goes well beyond the title.
Home visits to many of our community seniors is also a big part of what happens within our SFCFD COOP Program. This ramp project was in built in partnership with the New Mexico Ramp Project relies on programs such as COOP to identify those in need of their services.
The New Mexico Ramp Project is a charitable nonprofit organization that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico, using volunteer labor to build the ramps.
*COOP, which stands for Connection, Outreach & Overdose Prevention, is SFCFD's Mobile Integrated Health Program. Connecting clients with the proper resources needed to live a healthier and safer life is at the center of what COOP is all about.
