Meet our next model — Kim Zwobot! ✨

Kim has been a dedicated volunteer with Compass for the past 15 years, with much of her time devoted to Camp New Dawn, a special program supporting children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. She is passionate about helping children navigate grief and find connection, comfort, and hope after loss.

Outside of her work with Compass, Kim enjoys crocheting, reading, traveling, and taking long walks. She is married and the proud mom of four grown children, as well as a very special one-year-old granddaughter who has quickly become one of her greatest joys. And, of course, she can’t leave out her sweet pooch, Luna!

Kim is honored to be part of this iconic event and excited to walk the runway in support of an organization that has meant so much to her over the years.

We’re so happy to have Kim joining us and can’t wait to see her shine on the runway! 💫

✨ Model Spotlight: Meet Biana Arentz

We are thrilled to have Biana Arentz joining us as a model for this year’s Compass Hospice Fashion Show!

Biana’s love for hospice runs deep. Years ago, when she and her husband closed Hemingway’s Restaurant, they hosted their “One Last Sunset” event and generously donated all proceeds to Hospice of Queen Anne’s. She has also been a longtime supporter of our Fashion Show, attending year after year with friends and even hosting a table this year!

A longtime Queen Anne’s County resident since 1990, Biana has spent the last 23 years as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker, helping friends and clients find the perfect place to call home. She loves making dreams come true — both through her work and through the connections she builds in the community.

Outside of work, Biana’s greatest joy is family. She recently became a grandmother to Penelope, who she describes as a beautiful addition to their family. Alongside her husband Steve, Biana has built a life she loves right here in Queen Anne’s County.

We are so grateful to have Biana’s heart, energy, and passion supporting Compass Hospice. We can’t wait to see her shine on the runway! ✨

Join us for the Compass Hospice Fashion Show and celebrate incredible community members like Biana!

✨ Meet our next model — Melanie Glacken!

Melanie isn’t just a part of our Compass family — she’s been an incredible part of our team for nearly 30 years.

Born and raised between Baltimore and the Eastern Shore, Melanie has dedicated her career to caring for others as a Field CNA at Compass. On August 8, she will celebrate an incredible 29 years of service with our organization.

When she’s not providing compassionate care to our patients and families, Melanie enjoys spending quiet weekends with her boyfriend, attending concerts and music festivals, cooking, and painting. She’s also the proud mom of a 28-year-old cockatoo!

Melanie says she loves working for Compass and is incredibly proud of the work she does and the organization she represents. Her dedication, kindness, and commitment to our mission are what make Compass so special.

We are honored to have Melanie as part of our Compass family and can’t wait to see her shine on the runway while supporting our organization! 💙

Sis Williams’ journey was one of strength, courage, and love. After receiving a life-changing diagnosis, Sis and her family found comfort and support through Compass Hospice.

From the very beginning, our team was there to provide the care, guidance, and compassion they needed — helping Sis and her family navigate each step with dignity and peace.

Her story is a reminder that hospice is about so much more than the final moments. It is about comfort, connection, and surrounding patients and families with support when they need it most.

Have you or a loved one experienced the compassion of Compass Hospice? We would be honored to hear your story.

When Sis Williams’ family first entered the hospital, they never expected their lives to change so quickly. Sis went to the emergency room believing she was experiencing complications from COPD. After further testing, doctors discovered a mass. A PET scan confirmed the devastating news — cancer ...
