Big congratulations to Mr. Carl Africo on his Central Falls Youth Baseball Hall of Fame nomination 👏

For over two decades, Carl has been a steady, positive force in the Central Falls community. As a North Providence resident, he poured 22 years into Central Falls High School athletics, mentoring student-athletes both on the court and the field. Many remember him starting out as the boys’ junior varsity basketball and soccer coach, but when the varsity soccer program made its jump to Division I after that 2005 championship run, he stepped up as head coach and never looked back. That kind of commitment says everything about who he is.

Since the launch of Central Falls Youth Baseball in 2020, Carl has been right there with us, backing the mission and supporting our kids. This year alone, he went above and beyond—donating two pitching machines, safety and throwing nets, and additional equipment that will directly impact the development and safety of our players. That’s not just support—that’s real investment in our youth and our city.

We’re grateful for everything you’ve done and continue to do. Congratulations, Coach Africo—this honor is well earned. ⚾💙

It’s that time again… Baseball is back in Central Falls.

We’re kicking off our 6th season and we want the whole community there with us. This isn’t just about baseball—it’s about the kids, the families, and bringing the city together.
