une 2014, we will be accepting applications for students (ages 5-18) to complete a series of 2-hour Fashion Design workshops held once a week at our new location on 85 Industrial Circle, Lincoln RI, Suite 2213. Participants will learn to sew, make patterns from their own designs according to industry standards, create technical sketches and will complete 3-4 completed outfits by May 2015. Final designs will be modeled at an annual fundraiser and fashion show in June 2015
This will be the first time in history that our youth is given the opportunity to display their talents, potential, and creativity, similar to the Project Runway Show seen by millions across the United States. History Tina continues to endlessly encourage, promote and lead the youth and a selective group of individuals to entrepreneurial futures through representation and consulting. In the last 30 years she established life-long friendships throughout her career as a Fashion Analyst and Design Director; such as Margee and Andre Swarovski, the owner of the Swarovski Crystal in Austria, Tom Cody owner of Tom Cody Design Studio, Sharon Gray owner of Fashion Ikon, and couture designer Melinda Eng. Melo-International established in 2010 has taken on many forms. This unique concept called The Melo Movement established in 2013 mission is about visually stimulate the public, a branding concept established in 2010, to promote local and International Artists and Designers by color and concept.
