In our 10th episode of Coastal Characters, Katy is joined by author and writer Margaret "Max" McLaughlin. Before retiring to Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 2019, Max had over 40 years of federal and non-profit experience in international and national development settings. When she's not researching, writing and offering talks on Irish History and women's voices, she's volunteering as a life coach in the women's unit of the Barnstable County Correctional facility, and is an active member of the Cape Cod Chamber Writers Group (whose name was inspired by their monthly meetings at the Chamber's coworking space).

This episode of Coastal Characters was hosted and produced by Katy Acheson and recorded at Cape Media Center. Tune into this episode and others!

Tune in for new episodes every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
