It was a joy to share our first endeavor into some string orchestra repertoire.

We are so thankful for our wonderful community, our partnership with Planting Fields, and the all-star musicians who joined us.

Leah Ferguson, viola: Member of NYPhil since 2018 and as of this month a newlywed!! 🤩🤩

Jeremy Klein, viola: Starr Doctoral Fellow at The Juilliard School, daily es**rt for his Bernese mountain dog through Riverside Park 🐶

Audrey Chen, cello: Member of the internationally acclaimed Terra String Quartet, also holds a degree in molecular biology from Harvard 📚📚

Madeline Fayette, cello: Assistant Principal cello of the American Ballet Theater, bakes hundreds of cookies each holiday season

Milad Dinari, bass: Can be heard on Netflix’s Grammy-winning album with Deutsche Grammophon (and seen in the film!) recorded for Bradley Cooper’s “Maestro”, Milad is a film affascinato and would be a screenwriter if he wasn’t a musician!🎥🎬

Thank you to everyone who came out to our concert at Caumsett State Park this past weekend! We had a blast performing ☺️

In case you missed it, we are performing the program again at Stony Brook’s Center for Geometry and Physics, tomorrow, July 14th at 5pm!

The concert is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!

Sunsets and string quartets, what could be better? 🎻🌅

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at The Caumsett Foundation, July 10th at 6:30pm across from Caumsett Cafe, for a free outdoor concert featuring a selection of "Greatest Hits" for string quartet (part 2!). The concert is rain or shine, with plenty of covered space in case of rain.

With music by Beethoven, Borodin, Ravel, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Walker, there is something for everyone.

We can't wait! 😊

This program will feature excerpts from Holst’s masterwork ‘The Planets,’ music by Bach, Debussy, Coleman and more for wind quintet. The quintet will be amplified through the planetarium’s sound system for an immersive surround-sound experience. Beautiful panoramic views of the stars projected onto the 60 foot planetarium dome will complement the music at this unique event.

On Sunday, June 14th @ 5PM, relax and unwind at our 'Winds Under the Stars' concert at Vanderbilt Museum's Reichert Planetarium. This immersive program of classical music for woodwind quintet is paired with breathtaking visuals of the cosmos projected onto the planetarium's 60-foot dome. The musicians will be amplified through the theater's state-of-the-art sound system for a live, surround-sound experience. The program features Holst's famous work "The Planets," celestial music by Bach, Debussy, and much more!
