Project C.U.R.E., in collaboration with Newmont Corporation, has concluded a Helping Mothers Survive training program in the Ahafo region of Ghana, equipping 24 midwives with life-saving skills to prevent, detect, and manage leading causes of maternal mortality, including postpartum bleeding and pre-eclampsia/eclampsia.

To ensure lasting impact, four of the participants were certified as Master Trainers, enabling them to share their expertise with fellow healthcare professionals and strengthen maternal care far beyond this initial cohort.

Together, we're investing in healthier mothers, stronger healthcare systems, and safer births across Ghana.

At this year's Health & Hope Gala, we raised a record-breaking $700,000 to help deliver medical equipment to communities that need it most. Among the stories we shared with our guests was Mary's. Project C.U.R.E. sent equipment to her community clinic, including a machine used to treat cataracts. That equipment gave Mary her sight back, and she was able to see her family clearly again.

Our Ghana clinic team leaves Friday, August 28 and returns Sunday, September 6, and we still need to fill key roles before departure:

🩺 2-3 Nurses, EMTs, or Paramedics
💊 A Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician

Without these key volunteers, this trip doesn't happen.

From checking a child's vitals to counting out the one dose of medicine someone will see all year, that's what's waiting in Ghana, and it's waiting on you.

If you can go, or know someone who can, reach out now. Sponsorship may be available.

Ebola is spreading in remote communities of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It's now the largest outbreak ever recorded there, with more than 4,900 confirmed cases and over 2,300 deaths reported, according to the World Health Organization.

Frontline health workers are stretched thin by conflict, displacement, and limited medical resources. They urgently need protective gear, medical supplies, and critical equipment to care for the sick, stop the spread, and stay alive themselves. Even new beds can make a difference in fighting Ebola.

Project C.U.R.E. is ready to respond. Working with Aid Pioneers and a network of humanitarian partners experienced in the DRC, we can move medical supplies and equipment to the front lines quickly.

We're raising at least $15,000 to deliver an estimated $150,000 to $200,000 in supplies, amplifying every donated dollar by 10 or more. We've answered this call before. During the Ebola crisis in West Africa, we delivered protective equipment and supplies to clinics fighting to save lives. That same response is needed in the DRC today.

Where you live shouldn't determine whether you live. Want to be involved? Comment "Aid to DRC" below.

Because of you, the 2026 Health & Hope Gala and Golf Classic was a record-breaking year.

Together, this community raised just over $700,000 to deliver medical supplies, equipment, and training to healthcare workers around the world. Every $1 donated provides at least $10 worth of medical equipment, hospital beds, exam tables, surgical tools, newborn supplies, and wheelchairs to hospitals and clinics that need them most.

Thank you to our Gala Title Sponsor, Chevron, and Golf Title Sponsor, Wipfli, and to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and guest who made this year possible.

For nearly a decade, Project C.U.R.E. has helped equip healthcare professionals in Venezuela. This week, that commitment continued.
Project C.U.R.E., alongside partners VAMA Foundation and Caritas Venezuela, sent a $744,000 medical-relief shipment — 662 boxes of supplies and 337 pieces of equipment — to 10 hospitals and clinics recovering from Venezuela's earthquakes. Aspect Holdings, LLC. underwrote the air freight, getting these supplies to hospitals in days instead of weeks.
This is Phase II: the shift from emergency response to healthcare rebuilding. Hospitals still need to treat trauma, chronic illness, and everyday emergencies while restoring services disrupted by disaster.
This shipment builds on five previous containers Project C.U.R.E. delivered to Venezuela since 2016, worth nearly $2 million combined.
From immediate relief to lasting recovery — partnership delivers health and hope.
