was founded in 1987 to address the staggering shortage of medical resources around the world. has become the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment and services to doctors and nurses serving the sick and dying in more than 135 countries. Each week Project C.U.R.E. delivers approximately three to five semitruck-sized ocean containers packed with the medical equipment and

supplies desperately needed to save lives in hospitals and clinics in resource-limited countries. In addition, each year hundreds of healthcare professionals travel with Project C.U.R.E. to provide medical treatment to communities in need and training to those dedicated to serving them. is supported by over 30,000 volunteers annually and operates distribution warehouses in seven U.S. cities. In addition to our global work, Project C.U.R.E. pivoted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support the need for PPE and medical equipment in the U.S. Since March 2020, Project C.U.R.E. provided more than 15 semitruck loads of medical aid, which equates to 4.5+ million pieces and nearly $5 million of PPE for healthcare workers and first responders. continues on the frontline of the battle against the pandemic by providing millions of dollars of COVID-19 aid on a weekly basis. That's where C.U.R.E. Kits come in. You sponsor a kit filled with donated medical supplies, check it on the plane, and donate it at your destination.

When our Denver Executive Director brought two kits to Belize this spring, local emergency responders opened them to find exactly what they needed to prepare villages for hurricane season. More than $2,000 in supplies, hand-delivered, because one traveler chose to pack with purpose.

In Ghana, representatives from Asutifi North District Health, Asutifi North District Hospital, and Newmont Ghana display an award from the Ahafo Regional Health Directorate for providing exceptional health services. Last year, as part of its ongoing relationship with Newmont Corporation, Project C.U.R.E. sent the hospital a semi-truck-sized container of health supplies including a blood pressure machine, crib, baby warmer, exam tables, IV poles, beds, and more. Doctors used a surgical bed sent by Project C.U.R.E. in a previous shipment for the hospital’s very first surgery.

In its most recent trip to , Project C.U.R.E. assessed seven health facilities for potentially receiving lifesaving medical supplies and equipment to serve more Ghanaians. To date, Newmont and Project C.U.R.E. have helped improve health services at more than 30 hospitals and clinics in Ghana, delivering over $10 million worth of medical supplies and equipment and helping improve health outcomes for thousands of community members residing in this region of Ghana.

It was a record-breaking year for us, shipping 250 cargo containers around the world! End-to-end, they would span about 15 football fields. But this achievement is about more than numbers: it’s about impact. Each container is estimated to help 30,000 people, and with 250 containers, together, we've changed the lives of 7.5 million people—delivering each one health and hope. We offer a special shoutout to our volunteers who helped make this possible. Thousands of people came to our warehouses to help people they will never meet. For that, we are so grateful.
