Mental health support works best when people can actually reach it. 💙

For Veterans and their families, knowing where to turn — and feeling comfortable taking that first step — can make all the difference.

One of the core goals of Heroes Hall is to make support more visible, accessible and connected by bringing trusted Veteran-focused organizations together under one roof. That includes creating clearer pathways to resources that support emotional health, mental well-being, connection and belonging.

On World Mental Health Day, we're reminded that listening matters. Community matters. And making it easier for someone to find help matters.

Finding help shouldn't mean figuring out which office to call, where to drive or which organization has the answer.

Heroes Hall will bring four established Veteran-focused organizations together under one roof:

🇺🇸 The American Legion
🇺🇸 Veterans of Foreign Wars
🇺🇸 Douglas County Veterans Monument Foundation
🇺🇸 Douglas County Veterans Service Office

Together, they can help connect Veterans and their families with resources ranging from VA and state benefits to emergency assistance, education, community and camaraderie.

But first, we have to give them a home.

⭐ On Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, we honor the mothers, fathers, spouses, children, siblings and loved ones of service members who died while serving our nation.

A Gold Star represents a loss that does not end when a ceremony concludes or an anniversary passes. Families continue carrying the love, memories and absence of someone who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Today, we remember the fallen and stand beside the families who live with that loss every day.

Heroes Hall will be a place where Gold Star families are welcomed, their loved ones are remembered and their connection to the military community continues.

Heroes Hall Foundation is heading to Castle Rock Oktoberfest. 🍂🎃🍺

Stop by our vendor booth on Saturday, September 19, to meet members of our team, learn what Heroes Hall will provide for Veterans and military families, and see how you can become part of the mission.

Oktoberfest runs from 1-9 p.m. at Wilcox Square in Historic Downtown Castle Rock, with live music, food, drinks, family activities and local vendor booths.

Veterans may face trauma, isolation, grief, financial strain, difficulty transitioning to civilian life and uncertainty about where to seek help. Too often, support exists in separate offices, organizations and systems that can be difficult to navigate —especially during a crisis.
