We’re saddened to hear that NIOSA will not be part of Fiesta 2027.

Those of us involved in community events understand just how much happens behind the scenes to make these celebrations possible. It takes countless volunteer hours, dedicated organizers, generous sponsors and donors, and months of planning to bring an event of this size and tradition to life.

Our thoughts are with the volunteers, organizers, community partners, and everyone who has helped make NIOSA such a special part of Fiesta San Antonio over the years.

We have tremendous respect for the hard work and commitment it takes to carry on these traditions, especially when faced with the challenges of finding volunteers, securing financial support, and managing the growing costs of producing community events.

We hope this is simply a pause in NIOSA’s long history and that we’ll have the opportunity to celebrate with them again in the near future.

From one Fiesta family to another... thank you to everyone who has given their time, talents, and support to keep these traditions alive.

The San Antonio Conservation Society is officially pausing our annual “A Night In Old San Antonio®” (NIOSA®) event.

NIOSA is a beloved tradition, and this decision was not made lightly. We are taking this time to pause and re-evaluate how we can deliver the best possible experience for our organization, community, volunteers, and partners who have made this event possible year after year.

Our preservation work continues! Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming preservation initiatives and future event plans.

We had such a great time at our Annual Appreciation event to celebrate Sponsors, Volunteers, Committee Members, and our non-profit partner, Roy Maas Youth Alternatives. We presented the check to Blair Thompson from Roy Maas and were so moved by the work they do within our community ("L" - iykyk!). We are also sending a $500 check to Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation! We can't thank all of our partners enough for helping Fiesta Castle Hills give back - this is the Party with a Purpose! Hi Members!
Two weeks from today, (08/02/2026), CHCO will be hosting an Ice Cream Social. Come on out and enjoy a cold treat while visiting with neighbors. If you are planning to donate to our school supply drive, this will be the last day we are collecting for Castle Hills Elementary School and Jackson-Keller, so please bring you items with you. We hope to see you there!
