Please remember that the Castle Hills Woman's Club and Castle Hills Community Organization are collecting new socks for the unhoused. The collection boxes are in the lobby of city hall and will be there until the 24th. Thank you!

The Castle Hills Woman's Club was happy to welcome Viva Kitchen with a ribbon cutting ceremony today. Thank you to the Mayor, City Council, City Administration, Public Works, Garden Club, Fire and Police Departments for coming out and joining us.
Please stop in and visit our newest restaurant at 2211 NW Military. Don't forget Passport To Flavor starts soon and Viva Kitchen is a new place visit!

VETERANS DAY 🇺🇸
Flags of Honor
To recognize veterans who live or lived in Castle Hills, the City will place USA flags in the Commons and will include recognition of the veterans who register with the City.
To participate, contact the City Manager's Office at [email protected] (with the subject line FLAGS OF HONOR) with the service member's name, military branch, and years of service. There is no fee to participate; registration must be completed by Friday, Nov. 7th.

The deadline for ordering our Historical Society book is Monday. We currently have an order list of 34 which means the book price is $20.00. If we receive 6 more orders the price will go down to $18.00. The Community Organization and the Historical Society are selling each book at cost.

CHCO is hosting Trunk or Treat again this year (see flyer). If you have never participated please consider joining us. It is a lot of fun and families love it. To participate you just need a trunk, a few decorations and some bags of candy/small toys to hand out.
If you can't actually participate in the trunk or treat, we would appreciate a bag of candy donation.

CHCO is teaming up with the Castle Hills Woman's Club to collect new, warm socks for the unhoused. If you are interested in donating, we will be collecting the socks in the lobby of City Hall starting on Saturday, Oct. 10th. The collection box will be there until Oct. 24th. All sock donations will be given to the SAMM Ministries offices located in Castle Hills.

Castle Hills has seen a lot of changes in its 75 years. The Castle Hills Historical Society has published a book about our city and the people who have called this place home for many years. Past and present citizens of all ages were interviewed and shared their experiences of living in our small town in the middle of a big city. Our first printing of the book has sold out and we are currently taking orders for the second printing. The Historical Society is selling the books at cost. If we have 10 people order, the cost will be $32 a book. If we have 30 people order it will be $20 a book. At this time, we already have 9 orders waiting.
