Happy 75th Castle Hills! We are looking forward to celebrating our city's diamond anniversary tomorrow, 6/16, in the Council Chambers. Please come join us at City Hall, 209 Lemonwood, to celebrate, share cake and learn about our wonderful town. This is a "Come and Go" event from 5:00 -7:30!

Thank you to everyone who came out to welcome Cake & Batter Dessert Bar at our Ribbon Cutting yesterday. Owner Tanisha, and her business partner Christine, were so happy for the support. If you weren't able to make it yesterday, please stop by their store at 2211 NW Military and give it a try.
You may also find them at the Castle Hills Market in the near future. Cake and Batter will also be supplying the cake and some cookies for the City's 75th celebration coming up this Tuesday in the Council Chambers. We would love for you to join us between 5:00-7:30.

How many of us drive by here each week? Thank you to Tammy Calton, Vice-President and Branch Manager of IBC at West Avenue and NW Military Hwy for sharing some history of this wonderful piece of public art in our city. This mural was created by Denis
O' Conner an associate of Millard Sheets who for years ran the studio's mosaic workshop in Claremont, California. The studio did quite a lot of public art - especially for banks and public buildings. This mosaic mural was created for a Home Savings of America branch in Castle Hills in 1987. This building was a financial institution and a gift of art to the city of Castle Hills. According to researcher, Adam Arenson, the manager of the bank at the time was named, Richard Massey. Mr. Massy asked that scenes of early Texas Pioneer cultures be represented in the mural.
This mural is a great reminder of the people who lived, worked and built our city. What a wonderful legacy we have! Come learn more about our city and help us celebrate our 75th birthday. See you in the Council Chambers (209 Lemonwood) Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:30.

Stop in on June 16th for a piece of cake, historical information, and a video showcasing our wonderful city over the past 75 years! This is a "Come & Go" event and we are eager to celebrate with you!

We are so happy for the rain, but we're disappointed that we are going to have to reschedule our Concert in the Commons for tomorrow night.
There is some standing water on the edge of The Commons right now and more rain predicted for later tonight and tomorrow.
We were really looking forward to having Colton's Kin perform and we are hoping we can find an open slot on their busy schedule so they can join us later in the year.

Reminder that the Castle Hills Community Organization is hosting Concert in the Commons this Saturday, May 23rd. This event is free and open to the public so come on out and join us. Please feel free to bring a picnic basket, tables, chairs, quilts, games, and refreshments. CHCO will have some drinks and snacks for sale at their booth as well. Please be sure to invite a neighbor or friend.

We have our first Concert in the Commons coming up on Saturday, May 23rd. We are thrilled to be bringing Colton's Kin to Castle Hills for this family friendly event. Colton's Kin are a married acoustic duo that we found while they were performing a residency at the San Antonio Stockshow and Rodeo this year. They play music from all decades and genres. In the past the duo have played at Guadalupe Brewing, Shiner Brewery, The Gristmill @ Gruene, Dry Comal Creek Vineyard, The Redbird Listening Room and 5 Stones Artisan Brewery, just to name a few.
