Naloxone saves lives. Every household should keep it on hand in case of an accidental overdose involving a family member, friend, child, or pet. If you have loved ones at higher risk of overdose, keep several doses available. Because fentanyl can be especially potent, multiple doses of naloxone may be needed to reverse an overdose.
