Resilient West is excited to host a virtual Community Resiliency Model (CRM) training this August, led by our very own Dr. Ellaine Miller, an outstanding and experienced CRM instructor.
The Community Resiliency Model (CRM) is a research-informed, skills-based program that teaches practical wellness strategies to help individuals regulate their nervous systems, manage stress, and build resilience in the face of adversity. CRM skills are easy to learn, can be applied immediately in everyday life, and have been shown to reduce the effects of stress while improving emotional well-being. These techniques are valuable for professionals, community members, caregivers, educators, healthcare providers, and anyone interested in strengthening their capacity to respond to life's challenges.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s collaborative. We’re grateful for the chance to connect, learn from each other, and build on our commitment to working together. It was great to welcome our partners from Quality Care for Children , and we appreciated their informative and engaging presentation. These opportunities to collaborate are key to our shared success. Thanks to those who attended in person and to those who joined virtually. We truly appreciate everyone’s involvement. Working together is what makes this possible.

We are always thankful for gathering, eating amazing food, learning, and being there for each other. Today we learned about promoting children's Social and Emotional Competence. Marina makes learning easy and engages parents remarkably. Alexis talked to youth about goals and making sure that they listen to themselves! Tanaya was able to have conversations with the children about their emotions. The food catered by Good Neighbor was delicious! Thank you, parents and youth, for showing up and being engaged.
