It's official! The former Waring Lab has been renamed to the Waring Center for Public Archaeology, signaling an emphasis on public archaeology and community outreach.

At the Waring Open House this past Saturday, Interim President Ashwani Monga and Provost Jon Preston commemorated the occasion with center director Nate Lawres, curator Andrew Carter, and staff member Rebecca McGuire.

Looking for a safe and exciting place for your kids during school breaks? 🤔 Check out True-Liif: Beyond the Bell! 🔔 A wonderful out-of-school enrichment program for youth. 🏫 We cover ALL school breaks!

Here's what we offer: 👇
- Career Exploration: Culinary Arts 🧑‍🍳, Performing Arts 🎭, Fine Arts 🎨, and STEM 🧪

- Weekly Themes: Invention and Discovery 💡, Life Skills 💪, Conservation ♻️, Community Service 🤝, and much more

- Transportation: A new private school bus 🚌 for field trips and pick-up/drop-off services to select areas.

- Meals: Breakfast 🍳, lunch 🍔, and snacks 🍎 provided
Convenient Hours: 7 AM to 6 PM ⏰, perfect for working parents 👩‍💼👨‍💼

- Financial Ease: Our program is only $150/week and we are CAPS approved for parents needing support to enroll!

Beyond the Bell offers specialty interests enrichment in culinary arts, performing arts, fine arts, and STEM, with weekly themes such as invention and discovery, life skills, conservation, and community service. Nutritious meals are provided, and the camp operates during convenient hours to accommodate working parents.

I hope this message finds you well! We are thrilled to share information about our upcoming day camps for children during the following school breaks:

Camp Dates:
1. Fall Break: October 14 - 18
2. Thanksgiving Break: November 25-27, 29
3. Christmas Break: December 20, 23, 26-31, & January 2-6
4. Winter Break: February 17-21
5. Spring Break: April 7-11

Camp Highlights:
1. Hours: 7 AM - 6 PM
2. Amenities: Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks provided daily
3. Activities: Engaging STEM programs, eSports, access to an indoor playground, and much more!
4. Financial Assistance: We accept CAPS (Childcare Assistance Program) to support families in need.
5. Registration Fee: No registration fee required!

These camps offer a fantastic opportunity for families to keep their children engaged and active during the breaks. We would love your help in spreading the word to families in your network.
