🚀 Showcasing our students' experiential learning journey this week!! 🚀

On Tuesday, September 29th, some 12 for Life students had an incredible opportunity to tour the Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility at Georgia Tech! 🏭🤖

From advanced robotics and additive manufacturing to materials research, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge technology, our students got to see the future of manufacturing up close and personal.

But the best part? They were not just hearing about possibilities — they were experiencing them. 👏🏽

Opportunities like this give our students a chance to step into spaces where they may one day work, meet people who are shaping the future, and begin seeing what is possible for their own futures.

We are so proud of our students for showing up, asking questions, exploring, connecting, and representing 12 for Life so well!

Calling all former 12 for Life students! We would love to hear from you and find out where life has taken you since your time at 12 for Life.

As we look ahead to celebrating 20 years of 12 for Life, we want to reconnect with as many former students as possible and learn about the different paths our students have taken since their time in the program.

Representatives from The League of Women Voters visited our 12 for Life facility this week to discuss the history of voting rights in the United States and the importance of voting.
In addition, the voting process was explained.
Approximately 33 of our 12 for Life students registered to vote, further connecting our students to their communities!

For those needing to get their Drivers License! Scholarships are available to pay for the class. If you're under 18 years old and are interested, see Mrs. Fowler for more information!

Is your teen almost ready to hit the road? 🚗 WGTC is hosting fall break Driver's Ed and Joshua's Law sessions in Carrollton!

Courses include 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 additional hours of drive time with an instructor. WGTC provides a DDS-approved Driver’s Education program in cooperation with the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission.
