Let’s clear the air!
After many calls, text and contradictive answers from animal health inspectors to different people, I attended a meeting this evening to get the right ones for our DCJRA rodeo family. After the meeting I spoke to Dr. TR Lansford directly. Here is the guidelines to travel: if you are located in an “infested” zone, call 737-292-9983 tell them where you are located and that you are needing to get horses to our rodeo. They will help you get what your horses need to move out of that zone. If you are anywhere else outside the “Infested” zone you are free to move your horses as you wish. If anyone has any questions regarding this matter or anything about the screwworm outbreak call 737-292-9983 and they will help you. A lot of valuable information was shared at this meeting.
