Congratulations to Kyle Hildebrand on his promotion to CVA Alpine Youth Program Director! 🎉 In this expanded role, Kyle will serve as Head U14 Alpine Coach for the Academy while continuing to lead the Alpine Weekend Program.

Kyle brings a lifelong passion for ski racing and athlete development to the position. A graduate of Green Mountain Valley School, he went on to compete at Bates College, earning three All-American honors and serving as captain of the alpine team. His coaching experience includes leadership roles with Windham Mountain Club Racing, ELITEAM, US Elite Camps, and the CVA Weekend Program.

A longtime member of the Sugarloaf community, Kyle and his wife Megan, a CVA alumna, are proud parents of two current CVA students. We’re excited for what’s ahead under Kyle’s leadership. Congratulations, Kyle! 💚🐾

CVA was proud to welcome Houston Deck, U.S. Ski & Snowboard High Performance Specialist, to campus!

As a certified Gold Club, CVA is recognized among the top programs in the country for developing high-level athletes and delivering year-round, holistic support. This distinction reflects a rigorous review process and a commitment to excellence across coaching, resources, and athlete development.

Houston’s visit focused on our current programming and continued growth. He will serve as CVA’s liaison to U.S. Ski & Snowboard, supporting our high performance goals.

⛷️ 🏂 We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Sugarloaf Ski Club. Their support makes it possible for our students to access and learn skiing and snowboarding at Sugarloaf Mountain. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing opportunity right here in our backyard.

This winter, students enjoyed seven afternoons on the snow—all thanks to the Sugarloaf Ski Club! We’d also like to thank Sugarloaf Mountain and Perfect Turn for helping make this experience possible.

We truly are lucky! 💙
