The LUNATECS Robotics Team offers students the same high-energy, team-driven experience found in competitive travel sports — while preparing them for future careers in engineering, technology, manufacturing, and business.

Our community-based high school robotics team challenges students to compete at the highest levels of STEM through advanced engineering projects, regional competitions, leadership opportunities, and real-world problem solving. Students work together in a fast-paced, competitive environment where dedication, teamwork, and perseverance lead to growth both on and off the field.

Duel on the Delaware is fast approaching and will take place at Salem Community College on Saturday, June 20, 2026!

For the past two years, we have proudly recognized a graduating senior with our Duel on the Delaware Inspire Award, honoring a student who exemplifies leadership, innovation, teamwork, and inspiration within the robotics community.

This year, we would love to take that recognition one step further by including a scholarship to help support the recipient on their path to becoming a future leader, creator, and innovator.

We are wrapping up our 2026 season and on our way home from an amazing trip to the FIRST Championship in Houston. We are ready to start building on this success for next year! We expect to have about 8 roster spots available on our team for grades 9-12. Come out to our registration event to learn more!

With all of the excitement of two SJR teams at World’s, many more teams at invitational competitions, and SJR’s feature on 6 ABC News, we know so many people want to learn more about joining (and coaching!) a robotics team in South Jersey! Don’t miss our Registration Day to find out more and join a team! We are looking for coaches at the Explore and Challenge levels, and as a coach your child’s registration fee will be reimbursed! Can’t wait to see you there!

Ended the day in third place— we have 5 more qualifications to go through tomorrow!

Our team also presented for the Impact Award and we couldn’t be more excited for the rest of this weekend.

The LUNATECS have officially qualified for the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championship in Houston, Texas! 🙌

Our small team is filled with passionate students and mentors who care so deeply about engineering excellence and our culture, and impacting the world around us.

There are no words to describe the hard work that went into this season, but we are so excited to say it has been paying off through 5 blue banners, high scores, and many more achievements…but we’re not stopping there! We’re ready to bring this to Worlds!

From a rural town in South Jersey to the world stage, this is our story and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Not only did we set the FMA high-score of 752, but we went undefeated in playoffs. We had some crazy matches but we always managed to pull through. Loved playing with you all. 🖤
