At the Ride and Roast we went to check out the Bog but they were closed. Looks like an interesting place to check out though.... I grabbed the last calendar from their box. Some pretty cool pics actually!! Will definitely have to make the trip over next time we are riding in the area!!

Got a good start on "Daniel's Day Camp" will be a nice spot to stop for a lunch and campfire along our trail!! (Once things green up obvi...) Mother Nature put this nice natural chair right by the fire pit as well!! The seat is hard as a rock though.. bring a pad.🤣🤣 Daniel Williams

The future of the project could have a future for off road traffic thru Cloquet. If you want to make sure that MNDOT has our sport in their best interest we highly recommend you attend and make your voice heard
Hwy 33 Cloquet construction open house

The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend an open house on Monday, May 18, for updates on the planned reconstruction of Hwy 33 from the Doddridge Avenue/Big Lake Road intersection to just north of the northern St. Louis River bridge.

MnDOT will host the event at the Cloquet Armory (801 Highway 33 S, Cloquet, Minn.). Doors open at 5 p.m. A brief presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m.

For those unable to attend the public meeting in person, materials will be posted to the project website.

Carlton County is updating its Comprehensive Plan!
Carlton County is excited to announce the kick-off of the planning process to update the County’s comprehensive plan. The Carlton County Comprehensive Plan will serve as the County’s official guide for land use and development for the next 20 years. Informed by community consensus, community vision, existing conditions, and future potentials, the comprehensive plan will serve as a road map to the future by guiding policy decisions and helping the community achieve its long-term objectives.
The comprehensive plan will address several topics, including land use, residential areas, economic development including mining and industrial areas, agriculture, transportation, community facilities and infrastructure, parks and open space, and natural and cultural resources.
When completed, the Carlton County Comprehensive Plan will be the product of the community, with a vision and recommendations guided by valuable input received from residents, business owners, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Over the next year, residents should stay active and aware of the project as it progresses by tracking it through the project website at https://hla.fyi/CarltonCountyCompPlan. The County and project team look forward to working with the community in crafting a plan for Carlton County!
