Even with the winter storm rolling through, it probably doesn’t feel much like baseball and softball season just yet… but it’s right around the corner! ⚾🥎

Signups are now open, and the deadline is March 18th. We have to get our teams submitted to the leagues and schedules put together, so please make sure to register before then.

We’re excited for another great season of learning, teamwork, and fun at the ballfields. Spring will be here before we know it, and we can’t wait to see all the kids back out on the diamonds!

We’re excited to announce a Volunteer Day on Saturday, June 14th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we’d love your help! The day may run shorter or longer depending on the number of volunteers, and you’re welcome to sign up for partial shifts—every bit of help makes a big difference.

We’ll be tackling a wide variety of field and facility projects, including:

Leveling out infields and spreading ag lime

Installing a retaining wall behind Field A

Weeding and general cleanup

Painting

Equipment and facility repairs
..and more, depending on how many hands we have!

We have a flexible list of tasks and will adjust the day’s agenda based on the number of volunteers who sign up.

It’s that time of year again!! Chub Lake Concessions can use any/all help and this time goes toward your volunteer hours! I will send a league-wide email tonight, as well!

Couple things of note:
1-there will be a 30 minute training EVERY Sunday night from 7-7:30. If you sign up for a day that week, please also sign up and come to that training!!

2-I put two slots on every date to both ensure there’s enough help AND to ensure there’s enough availability for folks to get their hours. Starting next week, I will be there once a week for burger night too and can be of assistance.

3- I will add a tournament in July when I finalize details. Those will be 3 hour shifts from about noon on Friday until 2-3 on Sunday. That’s usually the 3rd week in July, but I’ll add those when I am certain of details. That’s a great time, and great opportunity to help out if weekdays are tough!

Week 2 of Spring Training Camp and the energy is strong! Players are sharpening their skills, building confidence, and getting game-day ready. Whether you're a returning athlete or new to the game, there's still time to join us and level up your baseball/softball season!

⚾️ 🥎 PLEASE SHARE!!! We will be holding our Spring Training Camp again this season!! It will be FREE for anyone registered for Baseball and Softball ages 8 and up! Click the link below to get registered for the season! REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MARCH 31st, 2025!!!

Details: Starts Monday, March 31st at Carlton High School from 6:30-8:00 PM! We will offer it MONDAY, TUESDAY, and THURSDAY evenings through April 17th!

Kids will need a glove, water bottle, and an eagerness to get ready for the season!
