Our Mission
The goal of the LAIAGA is to continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Many business and community leaders are on board as well as hundreds of individuals. Our Vision
The success of our events and the generosity of individuals and businesses within our community, and we greatly appreciate your past support of our cause. The contributions have made a significant impact in th
e lives of those who need it most. About
It all started 40 years ago when...Dr. Lucatorto, Nicholas Tirabassi, Dan Cirino and Rubin Mariano wanted to celebrate their Italian Heritage, through golf with friends, while rasing money for a great cause. Through the years, the LAIAGA has raised more than $300,000 dollars for numerous charities. Although the men that started this legacy are no longer with us, the tournament continued to operate thanks to Ralph Schiliaci who vowed to keep this tradition going, and successfully ran the event for many years. In 2013, when Ralph moved to PA to be near his family, Jack Impellizzeri took over as Tournament Director to continue the legacy. Today the tournament thrives thanks to a group of people who volunteer their time and resources to keep this tradition alive. Over our history we have raised money for a number of charities which include Juvenile Diabetes Research, National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, Guide Dogs of America and the Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Recent recipients have been the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Childrenโs Cancer, The San Genaro Foundation, Hillsides Home for Neglected Children, Circle of Hope and Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley and now WeSpark Cancer Support Center. You can be a part of that excitement by supporting our cause with a sponsorship outlined on the Sponsorship Opportunities page, joining us for golf, dinner or by making a donation. https://www.italiangolfla.com/
