Riley is one of those people who has a way of changing your heart the moment you meet him.
We are honored to have met Riley and his family, and to have transformed his bedroom through Over The Moon Room. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Riley now has custom Gator-themed décor, beautiful new cabinetry, and special touches designed to bring comfort, organization, and a little more joy to his everyday life.
Riley's story is below, along with one "after" photo. To read his complete story and see the bedroom transformation, including before-and-after photos, go to:

It has been our privilege to create this space for you, and we are so grateful to be a small part of your journey. 💙
Riley came into the world as a healthy baby; however, his parents began noticing he wasn't reaching the developmental milestones they expected. Doctors eventually discovered that Riley's brain had not developed myelin, the protective insulation that allows the brain to communicate with the rest of the body.
As the years passed, Riley gradually lost abilities many of us take for granted. Today, he relies on a ventilator, a feeding tube, around-the-clock breathing treatments, and multiple medications. Riley understands every word spoken to him, and he can communicate through eye blinks. Although his voice is quiet, his spirit speaks volumes.
If you ask those who know him best, none of that is what defines Riley.
They'll tell you about his bright mind, incredible sense of humor, his smile, and remarkable determination. 💙
We believe every child deserves a space that brings comfort, joy, dignity, and hope. Creating Riley's new bedroom wasn't just about cabinets, storage, colors, or décor. It is about giving him a place that makes everyday care a little easier while creating a cheerful atmosphere with the things he loves! (Go Gators!)
To Riley and his incredible family, thank you for welcoming us into your lives. Your strength, perseverance, and unwavering love for one another inspire us more than words can express. -Lori and the team at Over The Moon Room
