The month of May might be over but the support for kids in foster care isn’t! Campbell Orthodontics is hosting their stand in their office this week and we are incredibly grateful for their annual support of this campaign and the work we do. They truly are the best! 🍋💝

This week, we’re collecting a few essentials for the littlest members of our Village!

🦷 Baby Teethers
🧴 Diaper Cream

These simple items provide comfort, relief, and care for babies in foster and kinship families throughout our community. Every donation helps us ensure caregivers have the resources they need when welcoming a child into their home.

If you’d like to help, donations can be dropped off or shipped to our Resource Center (1510 SE 41st Terr. Cape Coral, FL).

To our Village 💛

Some weeks are busy. Some weeks are heavy. And some weeks remind us just how powerful community can be.

To every volunteer who gave their time, every donor who gave generously, every partner who said yes, every foster and reunifying family continuing to show up with love and resilience — thank you.

Because of this community, children are being cared for, families are being supported, and hope is continuing to grow right here in our city.

Never underestimate the impact of a small act of kindness, a meal delivered, a donation dropped off, a prayer spoken, or time spent serving others. It all matters more than you know.

“We are so excited for our 3rd Annual Lemonade Luau! 🌺🍋

This special event is our way of helping kick off summer for the families we serve by providing fun, encouragement, and summer essentials for children and their caregivers. ☀️

Right now, we are collecting some last minute new swimsuits and sunscreen donations to give out to our families during the event. (Amazon wishlist in the comments)

🛍️ Wish List Wednesday 🛍️

This week, we are especially in need of clothing for little ones in sizes 3T–4T for both boys and girls! 💛 As new children continue entering care, these everyday essentials help us make sure every child feels comfortable, confident, and cared for from day one.

Current needs include:
👕 Outfits
🩳 Pajamas

All items must be new and can be dropped off or shipped to our Resource Center. Every donation helps us meet urgent needs for the families and children we serve. Thank you for always showing up for our Village! 🫶

Happy adoption day Sophia! 🩵

This morning, the Finocchiaro family officially finalized their adoption! What started as a journey of saying “yes” to caring for children has now become forever family, and we are beyond honored to celebrate alongside them today.

At Foster Village SWFL, this is why we do what we do. Every child deserves to be loved, supported, and surrounded by community.
